Construction supervision for Phase II of the HVAC renewal at Arnau de Vilanova Hospital

Summary

The procurement covers architectural and engineering services to supervise the Phase II HVAC renewal works at Arnau de Vilanova Hospital in Valencia. The work will take place while the hospital remains operational and includes supervision of the construction and HVAC installations, occupational health and safety coordination during construction, preparation and monitoring of the quality-control programme, approval of the construction and demolition waste plan, and preparation and registration of energy performance certificates. At completion, the contractor must prepare the as-built project, including photographs, technical reports and monthly financial-control information. The team is generally required to be present at the hospital, with at least one site visit per week. The works are estimated to last 28 months. The construction-supervision and safety-coordination services are conditional on the works starting no later than 12 months after project approval. The contract is not divided into lots. The estimated value is €57,266.12 excluding VAT; VAT is €12,025.88, making the total €69,292. The bidder must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and provide a team of specialists with at least four years’ experience, the required qualifications and professional registration, and professional indemnity insurance. The offer must include a responsible declaration, proof of the required register entry or evidence of a timely registration application, a technical proposal and a price offer. The technical proposal is worth up to 45 points, additional site visits up to 6 points, and price up to 49 points. At least 25.50 points must be obtained on the qualitative criteria. Offers must be submitted electronically in the manner specified in the tender documents.
