Collection, transport and treatment of construction and demolition waste in El Ejido

Summary

The contract covers the collection, transport and treatment, including recovery, of construction and demolition waste in the municipality of El Ejido. Services will be ordered as needed by DUE. The annual budget ceiling is EUR 65,516 excluding VAT and EUR 72,067.60 including VAT. The estimated total contract value is EUR 235,857.60 excluding VAT. The initial term is one year, with the possibility of two further one-year extensions by mutual agreement. Bidders must quote for every service listed in the pricing form: treatment fees for soil, concrete and mixed waste; general construction waste; various mixed and site-clearance waste; and dumper and tipper trucks with drivers from the second hour onwards. Unit prices must not exceed the stated ceilings and must include transport and other service-related costs. The waste-recycling facility must be within El Ejido, and its operator must be authorised and registered to recycle waste. A quotation must be provided before each order; the technical specifications set a one-day delivery period. Services are accounted for monthly, and each monthly invoice must be accompanied by a certificate showing the quantity and type of waste handled and its treatment. Bidders must demonstrate technical and economic-financial capacity. They must provide a list of their main supplies in the previous year, including values, dates and recipients, and evidence of the technical and material resources available. The selected bidder must also provide the required financial evidence. Bids are evaluated on price for up to 80 points and the distance of the treatment facility for up to 20 points: up to 10 km earns 20 points, up to 20 km earns 10 points, and over 20 km earns 0 points. Bids must be submitted electronically with the required administrative declaration and completed pricing form. Occupational health and safety and activity-coordination documents must be provided before work starts. The successful bidder must provide a final performance guarantee equal to 5% of its final bid price.
