Supply and installation of emergency-exit safety equipment and fire doors at schools in Benalmádena

Summary

The contract covers the supply, installation and adaptation of emergency-exit safety equipment and fire doors at nursery and primary schools in Benalmádena. It includes panic bars, aluminium door closers, intumescent grilles, EI2 60-rated fire doors and the necessary building works. There are two lots: Lot 1 covers the supply and installation of the safety devices and grilles, plus the supply of fire doors; Lot 2 covers adapting existing fire-door openings and installing the doors. The estimated total is €78,356.58 including VAT (€64,757.50 excluding VAT): €60,687.55 including VAT for Lot 1 and €17,669.03 including VAT for Lot 2. Prices are maximum limits, and bidders must submit unit prices for all offered supplies and works. For Lot 1, bidders must offer one linear discount applying to all unit prices; a negative discount leads to rejection. The Lot 2 price must not exceed €14,602.50 excluding VAT. Supply and installation must be completed within 60 calendar days from the day after contract signature; the 60-day period for Lot 2 begins when the Lot 1 equipment is received. Work at schools must be planned for school holidays. Bids must be submitted electronically, separately for each lot. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and comparable experience and submit the product and work-planning documents required for each lot. Panic devices, door closers, fire doors and intumescent grilles must have the markings, certificates and test evidence specified in the technical requirements. The warranty for equipment and installation is at least three years.
