Saliva and blood alcohol and drug testing, with supply of screening tests

Summary

The tender covers the supply of saliva drug-screening tests and laboratory analysis of saliva and blood samples for drugs and alcohol for the local police of Mairena del Aljarafe. The screening tests must detect at least six substance groups: cannabis (THC), opiates, cocaine, amphetamines, methamphetamines (MDMA/ecstasy) and ketamine. Sample collection must take no more than 20 seconds and results must be available within 3–5 minutes. Laboratory approval, round-the-clock sample reception, location, secure sample handling and analysis deadlines are important performance requirements. Each test supply is due within 20 days; the first shipment must contain 25 tests and later shipments at least 10. Evidence that packaging is reusable or recyclable is required, and the tests carry a minimum one-year warranty. Occupational health and safety documents must be submitted before the service begins. Wages and Social Security contributions for personnel must be paid.
