Comprehensive maintenance of Alicante municipal lifts and escalators

Summary

The tender covers comprehensive maintenance of Alicante municipal lifts, escalators and other lifting equipment in two lots: Lot 1 covers municipal buildings and public spaces, while Lot 2 covers Santa Bárbara Castle. The work includes equipment maintenance, repairs where needed, and the supply of replacement and spare materials; Lot 1 also includes work to bring equipment into line with safety requirements. The initial contract term is three years, with the option of two one-year extensions. The total budget for both lots for the initial three-year period is €749,969.91 excluding VAT. Offers will be assessed on these plans, price, discounts on unit prices for materials and work, and any optional improvement commitments. The contractor must ensure that the personnel and resources required for lift maintenance are available; subcontracting is permitted only with restrictions and must not reduce the required minimum resources. The successful offer may also commit the contractor to carrying out specified additional work at its own cost, such as installing new lifts or stairlifts.
