Periodic RID inspections of rail tank wagons carrying dangerous goods in Córdoba

Summary

Renfe is seeking periodic RID-compliant inspections of tank containers on freight wagons at its Córdoba maintenance base. The service provider must act as an authorised control body and carry out four-year inspections and eighth-year renewal inspections. The work includes internal and external examinations of tanks, thickness measurements, valve checks and calibration, burst-disc checks, and the required pressure and leak tests. The RID compliance certificate must be delivered to the Córdoba maintenance base within three days. The vehicles covered are wagons of series RR2 and RR92. Bidders must submit a technical proposal describing the service arrangements, procedures and quality management, together with a separate financial offer. Technical evaluation accounts for 20% of the overall score and price for 80%; the technical proposal must score at least 10 points. The bid price must not exceed €24,200 excluding VAT (€29,282 including VAT). The contract lasts 48 months or until the maximum contract amount is used up, whichever comes first. Before signing the contract, the successful bidder must provide a final guarantee of 5% of the contract amount; no tender guarantee is required.
