Comprehensive maintenance and spare-parts supply for Social Security buildings in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

Summary

The contract covers comprehensive maintenance of the facilities, systems, equipment and services in the Social Security Treasury’s buildings and offices in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, together with the supply of parts and spares needed for maintenance. Work will be carried out at eight locations across Tenerife, La Palma and La Gomera. The contract runs for 12 months from 1 January 2027, or from the day after signature if signed later, and may be extended for up to one year. The tender documents state a budget of €439,739.05 including the Canary Islands indirect tax (IGIC), comprising €364,839.02 for maintenance services and €74,900.03 for parts and spares. A separate approval resolution gives a different maximum expenditure of €435,702.28 including IGIC, so the final amount should be checked against the official tender documents. Price is worth 70 points, and free additional services are worth up to 30 points: 200 overtime hours per year earn 10 points (100 hours earn 5); a low-emission van earns 5; training all contract workers to operate the machinery within the first three months earns 5; and an energy audit of all sites except the La Gomera agency within six months earns 10. Additional services must be assigned an economic value in the offer. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity and hold the necessary authorisations for electrical, heating and fire-protection system maintenance.
