Supply of plants and gardening materials for the renewal of green spaces, 2026–2029

Summary

The contract covers the supply of plants and other gardening materials for renewing degraded landscaped areas and creating new green spaces in Mairena del Aljarafe during 2026–2029. The goods include trees, shrubs, plants and nursery products; the full product range and technical specifications are set out in the tender documents. The contract is not divided into lots, and supplies will be ordered during the contract period and delivered to locations designated by the municipality. The initial term is two years, with an option to extend for a further two years. The initial budget is EUR 223,478.09 including VAT. The contract is co-financed 85% by the European Regional Development Fund and 15% by the municipality of Mairena del Aljarafe. Bids are scored on price (up to 60 points), a shorter delivery period (up to 20 points) and a shorter replacement period for rejected or defective goods (up to 20 points). The maximum ordinary delivery period is 10 calendar days and the maximum replacement period is 5 working days. Invoices are issued monthly for units consumed during the preceding month. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity, submit the required declarations and file their bids electronically. The successful bidder must provide a guarantee equal to 5% of the contract award amount excluding VAT and maintain liability insurance with cover of at least EUR 300,000 per incident throughout the contract. The warranty is one month for seasonal plants and six months for other items; during the warranty period, failed plants must be replaced and the goods kept in proper condition. The successful bidder must also supply and install a sign acknowledging EU funding within one month of award and comply with the requirements associated with EU funding, environmental safeguards and fraud prevention.
