Laboratory testing of EMTSAM employees’ samples

Summary

The contract covers laboratory testing of biological samples, primarily blood and urine, from employees of EMTSAM. The service includes supplying materials for sample collection, collecting samples on working days between 10:30 and 14:00, carrying out clinical analyses, and securely transferring results automatically into the MEDTRA/WinMedtra system. Samples are generally to be collected on the day they are taken; results must be delivered within 2 working days, although bidders may commit to delivery within 24 hours. In exceptional situations, the contractor must provide sample collection at its Málaga city facility at no additional cost. The estimated annual demand is about 700 medical examinations and 400 PSA tests. The initial contract term is one year, with up to four possible one-year extensions. The annual budget is €20,000, exempt from VAT; the estimated total contract value is €106,000. Bidders must have annual turnover of at least €106,000, at least one similar contract completed in the last three years, current ISO 15189 accreditation, and an appropriately authorised laboratory operating in Málaga city. Evaluation awards up to 90 points for the overall discount on unit prices and up to 10 points for a commitment to deliver results within 24 hours.
