Waiter and catering services for events

Summary

The contract covers the provision of waiters and catering for events in Paterna for one year, according to actual needs; the buyer is not required to order the entire forecast volume. The service includes staff, transport, equipment and organisation; setting 167 tables measuring 1.8 metres with paper tablecloths, napkins, disposable tableware and waste containers; and serving snacks consisting of crisps, peanuts and olives for every four guests, followed by mandarins for dessert. The organiser supplies drinking water and the main course; the contractor is responsible for service, preparation, clearing and removal of the waste it generates. Food must comply with applicable food safety and hygiene requirements and be of first quality; the buyer may request product traceability evidence. The estimate assumes 20 waiters for five hours and allows for a possible second similar event. The maximum budget is EUR 8,744.44 excluding VAT. Bids must offer a reduction from the published unit rates; price is the sole award criterion, with larger reductions earning proportionally more points, up to 100. The bidder must appoint a coordinator with at least five years of relevant experience and provide evidence of that experience, as well as a description of the materials and equipment proposed. Participation requires the prescribed registration, a responsible declaration, proof of or a commitment to obtain and maintain civil liability insurance, and a single electronic submission containing the administrative, technical and financial documents. Bids must be submitted in Spanish or Valencian, or accompanied by a certified translation into one of those languages. No tender or performance guarantee is required.
