Monitoring of the regulatory framework and funding mechanisms linked to the deployment of the renewable fuels value chain

Summary

The contract concerns a technical assistance service to monitor the regulatory framework and financing mechanisms linked to deploying the renewable fuels value chain, industrial carbon management and related renewable fuels activities. The contractor will operate an ongoing observatory to track regulatory developments at European, national and regional levels, monitor funding calls and instruments (e.g., NextGeneration EU, IPCEI, Horizon Europe and other EU/state/federal schemes), and produce regular biweekly newsletters, sector reports and monthly regulatory/analytical presentations, as well as other presentations and supporting materials as requested by the contracting authority. The assignment requires a multidisciplinary team including a project director, a technical coordinator, an EU policy and legislation expert, senior and junior analysts, and a quality control lead. Deliverables include continuous regulatory updates, biweekly bulletins, sector reports, monthly regulatory/analysis presentations, and other tailored materials, with an initial project kickoff meeting required before implementation begins.
