Technical assistance for the analysis of adsorbed contaminants in suspended particulates

Summary

Lot 1 concerns technical assistance for the analysis of adsorbed contaminants in suspended particulates. The objective is to quantify the concentration of hydrophobic contaminants adsorbed on the particulate matter from water samples collected during a controlled flood event of the Ebro River (March 2026). The work involves homogenizing the samples (12 high-turbidity samples ~140 NTU; each sample ≈7.5–8 L), aliquot separation (~100 mL), filtration to ≤0.45 μm, extraction of adsorbed contaminants from the particulate matter (solid–liquid Soxhlet/ultrasound/pressurized/micro techniques), and GC–MS based analysis (GC–MS/GC–MS/MS/GC–HRMS). Quality assurance requires achieving or exceeding the minimum quantification limits (LQmin) for at least 35 analytes listed in Annex 1, with results delivered in an editable Excel file and an accompanying final report (in Catalan). The contract duration is eight months with no option to extend; base price for Lot 1 is €20,018.44 (excl. VAT).
