Improvements to trails, viewpoints and amenities in Patrimonio Nacional forests

Summary

This works contract covers improvements to public trails, viewpoints, furniture and signs in the Riofrío Forest and El Pardo Forest, managed by Patrimonio Nacional. It is divided into two lots: Lot 1 improves accessibility on the Riofrío viewpoint trail and rebuilds the La Lastra viewpoint; Lot 2 renews furniture, signs and viewpoints on El Pardo trails and upgrades trails and access routes. Works include accessible and non-accessible trail sections, two cattle grids, timber footbridges, water crossings and a drinking-water fountain; in El Pardo, removal of 27 benches, 34 tables and 17 bins, renewal of signage, restoration of one viewpoint and replacement of two viewpoints. Bidders may tender for both lots. The completion period is 12 months. The total estimated value is €471,931.23 excluding VAT, or €571,036.79 including VAT; the budgets including VAT are €331,210.37 for Lot 1 and €239,826.42 for Lot 2. Price accounts for 60 points and the works method statement and schedule for 40 points; a minimum of 24 qualitative points is required. Bids must be submitted electronically. Participation requires proof of financial and technical capacity, details of the required team, and valid registration in the construction companies register.
