Tender detail
Staff transport service to Sevilla II Prison
Summary
The tender covers employee coach transport in both directions between Seville and Sevilla II Prison for morning, afternoon and night shifts. The prison is approximately 90 km from Seville. The service consists of two daily routes: the route starting in the Macarena area requires six trips per day and covers approximately 510 km daily; the route starting near Blas Infante metro station also requires six trips and covers approximately 570 km daily. Each route may have up to 12 stops per trip. The service must run every day of the year, and the prison director may change routes and timetables for security reasons. The contractor must provide two coaches, each with at least 50 passenger seats, air conditioning and a heating system. Coaches must be clean and in good working order, have no markings that make them easy to identify, and be parked in a secure enclosed location. A vehicle that breaks down must be replaced with one meeting the requirements. In exceptional circumstances, the contractor must provide a higher-capacity vehicle or an additional coach at no extra cost for up to 30 service instances per year. The contractor must provide drivers and replacement staff, submit a monthly report on vehicles and passengers, and comply with transport, occupational safety and prison security requirements. The contract runs for two years from 11 April 2027, with an option to extend it by up to one year. The tender budget is EUR 1,477,520 including 10% VAT; the estimated contract value is EUR 2,014,800. Price is weighted at 90% and vehicle age at 10%. Tenderers must demonstrate the required turnover and experience in similar services and hold a valid public transport authorisation. As an environmental performance condition, the contractor must use compliant, environmentally friendly biodegradable cleaning products for the coaches and provide product information sheets and annual invoices.
