Supply and commissioning of a train-roof component inspection system for Barcelona Metro Line 1

Summary

Ferrocarril Metropolità de Barcelona is procuring one integrated system to detect the location, integrity and defects of equipment mounted on Barcelona Metro Line 1 train roofs. Installed trackside, it will monitor CAF S6000 and Alstom S8000 trains in commercial service, generate descriptive alerts with video, and provide software for incident analysis, alarm management, trend reporting and integration with Metro asset-management platforms through an API. The contract includes equipment, installation, commissioning, training, configuration, validation and maintenance during a three-year warranty period; the system must be commissioned within 24 months. The estimated value is €350,000 excluding VAT (€423,500 including VAT); the procurement is not divided into lots.
