Dynamic Purchasing System for Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Audiovisual Equipment and Hardware Supplies

Summary

Miguel Hernández University is establishing a dynamic purchasing system for the supply of electrical and electronic equipment, equipment and materials for studio or mobile audiovisual production, and tools and hardware supplies. The goods are intended for the university’s teaching, research and innovation activities; the technical specifications define covered equipment as items with a unit value of up to €5,000 excluding VAT. Applicants may seek admission to one or more of the three categories and must provide an electronic product catalogue for each chosen category and demonstrate financial and technical capacity. This is an open supplier system: businesses may apply to join throughout its term. The university will purchase from approved catalogues or run a specific competition within the system, inviting suppliers in the relevant category to submit bids. The initial term is one year, with extensions possible up to a total of five years. The estimated total value is €1,800,000 excluding VAT. The indicative annual maximum is €100,000 excluding VAT per category (€121,000 including VAT); this does not guarantee any minimum purchase volume. The initial application period is at least 30 days from dispatch of the contract notice to the Official Journal of the European Union. Suppliers must normally update their catalogues quarterly, deliver to the university’s campuses and comply with product, delivery, safety and environmental requirements. Maximum delivery periods are 30 days for Categories 1 and 2 and 15 days for Category 3. Products must be supplied with the required safety or technical information and CE marking where applicable; as a general rule, products must have more than 60% of their useful life remaining before expiry at the time of delivery.
