Supply and installation of safety profiles on CIVIA IV train steps to mitigate entrapment risk

Summary

The tender covers the design, approval, supply and installation of new LED-lit safety profiles on the steps of CIVIA IV trains to reduce the risk of people or objects becoming trapped. The work includes two prototypes, conversion of 60 trains in Madrid and Catalonia, 18 spare-material sets and, where applicable, 4 maintenance-tool sets. The maximum execution period is 20 months, and the tender price may not exceed EUR 983,225 excluding taxes.
