Operation, maintenance and improvement of the Costa Brava wastewater systems

Summary

The contract covers the operation, upkeep, maintenance and improvement of the Costa Brava wastewater systems, including continuous operation of wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, trunk collector networks, marine outfalls, and water regeneration and purification equipment. The systems are divided into two geographic lots: Lot 1 covers the northern and Centre 1 areas, while Lot 2 covers Centre 2 and the southern area. The work also includes wastewater and sludge testing and management, operation of the Blanes sludge-composting plant (Lot 2), supply and maintenance of regenerated water systems, fault response, health, safety and environmental compliance, and regular reporting. Bidders must provide the required competent team for the lot concerned and submit an offer that meets the technical and pricing requirements. The initial contract term is 4 years, with a possible extension of up to 1 year. The four-year budget is €103,064,334.98 excluding VAT.
