Dynamic purchasing system for wood pellets for Terrassa schools

Summary

The City of Terrassa is setting up a dynamic purchasing system for the supply of wood pellets to three named schools with biomass boilers: Escola Antoni Ubach i Soler, Escola Marià Galí i Guix and Escola Bressol Municipal L’Esquitx. Pellets will be delivered by pneumatic tanker into the schools’ silos for heating and hot-water systems. The indicative consumption is 59.4 tonnes per year; the system runs for two years, with two possible 12-month extensions, and is not divided into lots.
