Measurement services for the Kassel sewer network campaign, 2027–2029

Summary

KASSELWASSER, the City of Kassel’s municipal utility, is procuring measurement services for a rainfall and flow monitoring campaign in the city’s sewer network. The work covers the installation, operation, maintenance and removal of approximately 66 temporary monitoring points—59 for flow and 7 for water level—with remote data transmission, and on-call quality checks of selected permanent monitoring points. The campaign will run either in two phases in 2027–2028 or three phases in 2027–2029; each measurement period runs from 1 April to 31 October. The campaign supports calibration of the sewer network model, while a separately commissioned engineering firm will oversee and analyse the data.
