Summary

The project addresses innovative and sustainable techniques for the production of glass and mineral fibers; its objective is to determine the best available techniques and to prepare the revision process. For 2028, a second revision of the BVT sheet for glass and mineral fiber production is planned. The work will include a national sector analysis and a review of the currently valid BVT sheet from 2013; it will also identify which primary and secondary raw materials and energy sources are used and the emissions associated with them. Particular attention will be paid to the use of hazardous substances and mixtures.
