Building 30.10 – HC-H2 research building; location: Brainergy Park Jülich

Summary

The tender concerns technical design services for an approximately 15,500 m² gross floor area laboratory and office building, workshop and test hall at Brainergy Park Jülich. The design must address chemical, reaction-engineering and physical laboratories, high air-exchange rates, the supply of reaction gases, fire and explosion safety, emissions control, occupational safety, ventilation, electrical, heating and cooling systems, wastewater management and gas warning sensors. The services will be commissioned in stages: project stage 1 corresponds to HOAI service phases 1–3, project stage 2 to phases 4–6, and project stage 3 to phases 7–9. Project stage 1 will be commissioned initially; the later stages depend on the actual continuation of the construction project and the funding decision. Construction is planned to start in Q1 2028 and be completed in Q4 2031. The bidder must check the official tender documents for the detailed technical, qualification and compliance requirements.
