Gerlachshausen lock on the Main – Overhaul and renovation works

Summary

The tender concerns a comprehensive overhaul and renovation of the Gerlachshausen lock on the Main, including dismantling and repairing 14 lock mechanisms and 8 cylinders, installing new valve blocks and piping, and implementing three-level redundant flexible drive measurement systems, with wiring and cabling up to access of about 15 m per cylinder, plus applying a new coating and providing as-built/technical project documentation. The work is conducted in accordance with ZTV-W LB 202 and ICE-DVtU requirements, taking safety and environmental considerations into account (SiGeKo, UVV). The contract duration runs from four weeks after contract award to 24 May 2028, including transport to Würzburg Bauhof and collaboration with AG and other authorities.
