Energy renovation of Building AB – TGA planning services for building automation

Summary

The tender concerns the energy renovation of Building AB and the technical building equipment (TGA) planning services for building automation. It is an open procedure under §15 VgV. The project aims at comprehensive renewal, modernization and energy optimization of existing systems while maintaining ongoing university operations. The total estimated cost is about €8.2 million, of which about €0.5 million is allocated for media technology. The renovation includes roof renovation and Aula ventilation system upgrades, electrical infrastructure modernization and LED lighting, with potential integration of PV systems. TGA planning covers technical equipment planning according to HOAI §§53 ff and will be carried out in four stages (LPh 1-9). The contract is planned to be awarded in November 2026, with planning starting in January 2027 and execution from early 2028 to mid/end 2029. Project language is German.
