Supply of an ELW 1 command vehicle for the ABC unit of the Lüneburg district fire brigade

Summary

The tender is for the supply and conversion of one ELW 1 incident command vehicle for the ABC unit of the Lüneburg district fire brigade. The supplier must provide a van with an engine displacement of at least 1,900 cc, power of at least 180 hp and permitted gross weight of at least 5,000 kg, with four-wheel drive and an automatic transmission, and convert it into a command vehicle. The required minimum dimensions include a length of 7,360 mm, a height of 2,700 mm and a wheelbase of 4,320 mm. The conversion includes driver, briefing, communications and equipment areas; workstations; communications and computer equipment; lighting; siren and blue-light systems; electrical supply; and a 10-metre telescopic mast. The offer must meet the detailed technical specification and be compatible with the existing communications system identified in the tender. The vehicle must be completed within 12 months of contract award. The offer and all contract administration must be in German, and the bid must be submitted electronically by 3 November 2026 at 10:00. Price is the only award criterion. The bidder must provide the required suitability and sanctions declarations, payload calculation, chassis drawings, technical description and references for comparable work. A warranty of at least two years and a service workshop within 50 km of the Scharnebeck fire-service technical centre are required.
