Container solution for electrolyzer and fuel cell system
Summary
This procurement concerns a containerized PEM electrolyzer and hydrogen fuel cell system to be used for research at Technische Universität München (LNM). The package includes a container with safety monitoring and media interfaces, an electrolyzer subsystem (electrolyzer stacks, production of deionized water from tap water, feed and cooling water circuit with an oxygen separator, hydrogen purification to quality 5.0, external cooling, safety-integrated control) and a fuel cell subsystem (stacks, liquid cooling circuit with external cooler, hydrogen supply and recirculation, air supply, safety-integrated control). The system must use PEM technology and provide an electrical output of at least 25 kW for the electrolyzer and 10 kW for the fuel cell (BoL), with a control range of 20-100% for both. The container must include electrical installation, lighting, distribution board and FI protection, be colored in RAL 6005, provide sound insulation, and include media interfaces and building connection points. The procurement also covers delivery, installation, commissioning and training, maintenance without annual license fees, and a payment plan with caps (up to €250,000 for the electrolyzer/container system and up to €75,000 for the fuel cell system); payments are scheduled as €80,000 upfront, €200,000 on delivery, and €45,000 on commissioning.
