Mapping flood extents along the Dhünn and Mutzbach under the EU Floods Directive

Summary

The Cologne District Government is procuring engineering services to map flood extents along the Dhünn (24.40 km) and Mutzbach (15.32 km) rivers under the EU Floods Directive. The work includes river surveys, updating the catchment rainfall–runoff model, building and calibrating 2D hydraulic models, and calculating flood levels, depths, extents and flow velocities for several flood scenarios.
