Building design for the operating theatre expansion and 16 intermediate care beds

Summary

Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Schwesternschaft Berlin is procuring building design services for phases 2–8 under the HOAI for Part Project 3 at DRK Kliniken Berlin Westend. The project covers two additional central operating theatres, a 16-bed intermediate care unit incorporating a Respiratory Care Unit and Chest Pain Unit, and adaptations to the operating theatres for medical IT. The scope also includes planning for the removal of the affected operating theatres and functional areas at the Mitte site; the works are to be planned around the continuing hospital operations.
