Redevelopment of Bitterfeld Station Forecourt and Central Bus Station

Summary

The City of Bitterfeld-Wolfen is procuring civil engineering works to redevelop Bitterfeld railway station’s forecourt and renew its central bus station, divided into Lot 1 (station forecourt and parking areas) and Lot 2 (bus station and the adjacent pedestrian and cycle route). The works cover road, footway and cycleway construction, drainage, landscaping, accessibility improvements, lighting and related street furniture and technical equipment. The forecourt covers approximately 5,500 m²; the bus station approximately 7,800 m², with 8 bus stops and spaces for 10 parked buses.
