Supply of a logistics and equipment vehicle for disaster protection (GW-L KatS)

Summary

The procurement is for one new, highly off-road-capable four-wheel-drive logistics and equipment vehicle (GW-L KatS) for disaster and civil-protection transport tasks. The supply covers a two-axle truck chassis and a fire-service body, including a flatbed, a curtain-sided modular logistics body designed for at least eight standard roll containers, and a vertical lift with a minimum lifting capacity of 1,500 kg. The supplier must also provide the specified communications, emergency warning, electrical and lighting systems, load-securing equipment and other listed equipment, and deliver the vehicle fully operational, documented and inspected. The vehicle must meet the detailed mandatory technical requirements, including those for off-road capability, dimensions, load capacity, engine, safety and emergency-service equipment. The bidder must provide the chassis manufacturer’s technical data sheet and proof of certification to install Sepura or Selectric digital radio equipment. At least two comparable vehicle deliveries must have been completed during the last three calendar years or the longer period stated in the contract notice. Delivery is expected as early as possible in 2028. The chassis must carry a warranty of at least 24 months and protection against perforation corrosion for at least 12 years.
