Service Yard Waste-Handling Equipment

Summary

The tender concerns waste-handling equipment for the new hospital service yard in Böblingen. The contractor must install and commission automatic waste-container tipping stations and supply and install a scissor lift table. The tipping stations are for clinical waste (waste code 180104) and cardboard; operating-theatre waste is not handled through them. Each container is to have its own tipping station, using MGB containers of 770 litres and, in some cases, 1,100 or 660 litres. Automated waste deliveries at a later stage are not ruled out, so reasonable preparations should be made for them. Under the planned schedule, the scissor lift table’s base frame and oil tray must be installed by 16 November 2026, with that installation completed by 30 November 2026; the lift table is due for completion in July 2027. Installation of the two tipping stations is scheduled to start on 3 May 2027 and finish on 23 July 2027. Functional testing and preparation for acceptance are planned for 26–30 July 2027, with acceptance scheduled for 20 August 2027. The offer must be submitted electronically in German by 21 October 2026 at 11:00; prices must be quoted in euros excluding VAT. Price is the sole award criterion, weighted at 100%. The contract is not divided into lots, and variant offers or multiple main offers are not permitted. The bidder must include the required offer, confidentiality, minimum-requirements and tariff and minimum-wage compliance declarations, as well as relevant suitability declarations, including those concerning turnover and comparable-work references where applicable.
