Supply of a logistics vehicle for disaster response

Summary

The tender concerns the supply of a new, highly off-road-capable logistics vehicle for the Rhein-Erft district’s disaster and civil protection transport needs. The supplier must provide a complete solution comprising a two-axle all-wheel-drive chassis, a fire-service body and equipment, warning lights and sirens, digital radio and navigation, electrical and charging systems, and load-securing equipment. The logistics body must accommodate at least eight standard roll containers and include a hydraulic tail lift with a lifting capacity of at least 1,500 kg. The vehicle’s maximum gross weight is 14,500 kg, maximum width 2,550 mm, maximum overall length 6,550 mm and maximum height 3,700 mm; minimum wading depth is 1,200 mm and minimum engine output is 170 kW. The required emissions standard is EURO 6E or later. The bidder must offer a chassis warranty of at least 24 months and a perforation-corrosion warranty of at least 12 years, and provide evidence of certification to install Sepura or Selectric digital radio equipment and of at least two comparable vehicle deliveries during the last three calendar years. The offer must include the chassis manufacturer’s technical data sheet. Delivery is required as early as possible during 2028. Offers must be submitted electronically in text form; alternative offers are not permitted.
