Dismantling of abutments and foundations on the Spree-Oder waterway – munition search and disposal

Summary

The contract concerns the dismantling of three bridges on the Spree-Oder waterway and the search for and disposal of ordnance. It involves Pionierbrücke, Sandfurth Brücke and Biegenbrücker Brücke, where ordnance suspicion has been confirmed by the Brandenburg Central Police Bomb Disposal Service. For Pionierbrücke, both piers are to be dismantled; for Sandfurth Brücke only the remaining southern abutment; for Biegenbrücker Brücke both abutments are to be dismantled, and access roads must be checked for ordnance. Certificates that the piers and access roads are free of ordnance must be provided to the client.
