Cable-yarded timber harvesting 2027

Summary

The procurement is for complete timber harvesting and extraction under a framework agreement in three lots in the Bärenfels forest district: Schellerhau, Rehefeld and Holzhau. Work includes felling, processing, pre-skidding, cable yarding, harvester processing, forwarder extraction and stacking, as well as sanitary timber operations and related site work. The guaranteed minimum is 1,414 cubic metres, with a maximum of 2,500 cubic metres of green timber, plus separately estimated sanitary timber; the framework runs no later than 31 March 2028, with planned quantities to be called off by the end of 2027.
