Roof renovation on Röntgenstraße and in the Elsenbruch area of Lüneburg

Summary

The contract covers roof renovation at six terraced houses in the Röntgenstraße and Elsenbruch area of Lüneburg: three end-of-terrace houses and three mid-terrace houses. The nearby buildings will remain rented and occupied during the works. The existing roof covering, parts of its supporting structure, roof penetrations and rainwater drainage system must be removed and disposed of. New roof underlay and battens will then be installed, followed by natural-red roof tiles with matching ridge and verge tiles. The work also includes site setup, demolition, scaffolding and electrical work; installation of roof access hatches and ventilation pipes; fire-safety work at the party walls; recladding of chimney tops; fibre-cement cladding in parts of the eaves; repair and recoating of exposed rafter ends; and complete renewal of the roof drainage system. Work must proceed in stages while taking continued occupancy and rental operations into account. The deadline for submitting bids is 27 October 2026.
