Outdoor space design for the new family centre on Julius-Birck Street, Duisburg

Summary

The City of Duisburg is procuring landscape planning services for the outdoor areas of a new family centre at the Julius-Birck-Strasse day-care centre in Duisburg-Marxloh. The planning area covers approximately 1,780 m²: about 790 m² of day-care play space and 990 m² of shared outdoor space and access. The design includes accessible routes, play and gathering areas, 14 car parking spaces, 12 bicycle spaces, stroller storage, planting and climate-adapted features. The core services cover HOAI service phases 1–9 in four stages, with phase 9 optional; additional services may be commissioned separately if needed.
