Electron-beam evaporation coating system

Summary

Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg is procuring the delivery, installation and commissioning of a new electron-beam evaporation coating system for research projects in quantum materials. The system will produce homogeneous optical and metallic coatings on structured and flat substrates, including Bragg mirror stacks of up to 40 layers and 5 μm total thickness, and gold layers. It must also support thermal evaporation, ion-source substrate cleaning and integration with the university’s existing reflectometry system. The procurement is not divided into lots.
