Tender detail
Single-photon detectors for visible and near-infrared light
Summary
Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena is procuring four single-photon detectors for the visible to near-infrared spectral range of 400-1000 nm to enable counting photons emitted in spontaneous nonlinear processes. The detectors must have identical specifications to ensure consistent measurements. Key technical requirements include detection in 400-1000 nm, a built-in input channel for single-mode or multimode fiber, quantum efficiency around 65% at 550 nm and at least 50% at 800 nm, dark count rate not exceeding 100 Hz, timing resolution better than 1 ns, dead time less than 30 ns, output count rate at least 30 Mc/s, output interface SMA/BNC or adapters, potential for internal free-running synchronization, and optionally separate control electronics and software. Warranty is 12 months; delivery within 18 weeks after award; delivery location ACP Jena, Albert-Einstein-Straße 6, 07745 Jena.
