Major refurbishment of the Schlangenbader Straße tunnel – site facilities and traffic safety

Summary

The Senate Department for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment is procuring site-establishment and traffic-safety works for the major refurbishment of the Schlangenbader Straße tunnel and the bridge over Wiesbadener Straße in Berlin. The scope includes preparing and operating the construction-site areas, temporary power and lighting, traffic management and safety measures through several construction phases, and adjustments to the road median, including temporary crossings. It also includes installing, operating and removing an LED information sign and a mobile traffic-queue warning system. The structural refurbishment itself is covered by separate contracts.
