Schlangenbader Straße tunnel reconstruction and traffic safety

Summary

The tender concerns the comprehensive reconstruction of the Schlangenbader Straße tunnel structure and the establishment of traffic safety. Works include repairing damages to the road surface, tunnel construction and technical installations, and the appropriate remediation of health-hazardous construction materials. The aim is the sustainable renewal of tunnel and bridge structures and to create a contaminant-free tunnel environment. The tunnel with its bridge is about 570 meters long and runs through the Schlangenbader Straße residential area. The contractual works under Reconstruction I – BE / Traffic Safety include site preparation, civil works (e.g., safety fences, crown protection, protection for trees, protection for equipment of the traffic facility), setting up temporary power and the management of traffic during the construction period.
