Consultancy support services for the development and implementation of sustainable finance taxonomies

Summary

The tender concerns consultancy services for the development and implementation of sustainable finance taxonomies. The contractor will provide advisory services organized into three work packages: WP1 cross-cutting methodologies, templates and guidance; WP2 development of sustainable finance taxonomies from inception to finalization; WP3 implementation and integration. The anticipated contract term runs January 2027 to December 2027, with VAT place of supply in Germany. The plan of operations must be submitted at the start and annually thereafter. The procurement is via an open procedure with a submission deadline of 26 October 2026. The evaluation is based on a technical (70%) and financial (30%) split. The project is funded by BMZ and the EU under the Sustainable Finance Advisory Hub and Global Gateway initiatives, and involves close collaboration with partner countries and GIZ teams in-country and at Eschborn.
