St. Wenzel Church in Naumburg: West Façade Restoration, Phase 2

Summary

The project covers restoration of the west façade of St. Wenzel Church in Naumburg (Saale), as the second construction phase. The works include approximately 1,100 m² of covered façade scaffolding, renewal of about 1,200 m² of natural-stone joints, repairs and replacement of individual stone areas, and delivery of approximately 1,800 kg of limestone. They also include cleaning, stone consolidation and retouching over about 1,400 m², approximately 55 linear metres of rolled-lead cornice covering, photogrammetry and documentation under the Saxony-Anhalt Monument Protection Act.
