Video consultation with a doctor

Summary

The tender concerns the improvement of digital medical care for patients through a digital communication and networking process enabling video consultations under §140a SGB V. The contractor must establish and operate a qualified doctors network in Bavaria (at least 200 doctors: 100 general practitioners and 100 specialists), provide video consultations from 7:00 to 22:00 daily, and ensure a maximum 30-minute wait time with free choice of doctor. It requires a structured initial assessment (Anlage 31c BMV-Ä), integration of the digital care pathway, and documentation in the electronic patient record where applicable. The contract includes training for participating doctors, data protection and IT security measures (KBV-certified video service, ISO 27001, EU/EWR hosting, penetration testing, DPIA, GDPR controls), and regular quality reporting. It also covers IT governance, support structures, and alignment with existing AOK Bayern digital health services.
