Framework agreement for lift inspections in Bonn

Summary

The tender covers statutory periodic inspections of approximately 190 different types of lifts and lifting equipment operated by the City of Bonn during 2027–2030. The work includes main, intermediate and other recurring inspections by an authorised inspection body, follow-up inspections when required, lift safety and cybersecurity risk assessments, and training for lift attendants. In the first contract year, risk assessments must be prepared for existing equipment where there is no current assessment less than one year old; in subsequent years, assessments are required as circumstances warrant. The contract starts on 1 January 2027 for two years, with a one-time option for the city to extend it for a further two years, up to 31 December 2030. Bidders must demonstrate comparable experience and the availability of sufficient staff, and must hold at least EUR 5 million in liability insurance or undertake to obtain it if awarded the contract. The deadline for bids is 29 October 2026 at 10:00; price is the sole award criterion.
