2026-0559 Embankment rehabilitation and relocation in the Duisburg-Mündelheim Rhine bend – ecological services

Summary

The tender concerns ecological construction supervision for the flood-protection works in the Duisburg-Mündelheim Rhine bend. Lot 1 covers the relocation and rehabilitation of the flood embankment in construction sections 3 and 4; Lot 2 covers raising the B 288 road, including associated bridge, road, drainage and embankment works. The ecological supervisor must monitor construction impacts, protected vegetation and topsoil, support coordination of any deviations from the planning approval, assess impacts for the landscape-management plan and propose compensatory measures.
