Landscape works to redesign the outdoor areas at Ludgerus School Hiltrup

Summary

The procurement covers extensive redesign and landscaping of the outdoor areas at Ludgerus Primary School in Hiltrup as part of the school extension. The work includes, among other things, demolition or removal of existing surfaces, structures and vegetation; earthworks and drainage; construction of road and courtyard foundations and surfaces; walls, seating areas and a stone-block stand; installation of play and sports equipment, fences and electrical cable protection ducts; planting trees and other plants; and landscape maintenance. Newly planted areas require completion maintenance for one growing season, followed by two years of establishment maintenance. The work will take place during normal school operations in three consecutive phases, with part of the schoolyard remaining available throughout. The contractor must organise deliveries and construction so that pupils and school staff are kept safe. Each passage of a construction vehicle must be accompanied by at least one banksman, and deliveries must be limited during school breaks. Bids must be submitted electronically by 29 October 2026 at 07:30, with the priced bill of quantities in both PDF and GAEB formats. Price is the sole award criterion. The bid must include the required self-declarations and suitability information, including confirmation of comparable experience and availability of the necessary workforce. The person responsible for traffic safety must hold a valid MVAS qualification, and chainsaw work must be carried out by appropriately trained personnel.
