Clearance and cleaning works at Leerstetten Lock – SSP 2027

Summary

The procurement covers clearance and cleaning works at Leerstetten Lock on the Main–Danube Canal ahead of a structural inspection. The works include cleaning approximately 47,000 m² of concrete surfaces and 3,000 m² of installed steel waterway structures, together with site setup, scaffolding and residual-water management. Around 750 tonnes of debris must be removed, transported an average of approximately 800 m and loaded onto barges or temporarily stored on the contracting authority’s premises. The work is scheduled from 22 March to 30 April 2027, with cleaning planned from 23 March to 19 April and the navigation closure from 5 to 25 April.
