Framework agreement for timber harvesting and extraction in the Unger, Rosenthal and Lohmen forest districts
Summary
The procurement covers timber harvesting and extraction in the state forests of the Unger, Rosenthal and Lohmen forest districts. Work may include felling, processing, forwarding, extraction and stacking of timber. The contract concerns green timber and small quantities of damaged timber. Work will be ordered through individual work orders, and the contractor must remain flexibly available according to the extent of damage. The contract runs from 15 January 2027 to 14 January 2028. The contracting authority may extend it up to three times for one year each, for a maximum total term of four years. Ordered work must start no later than five calendar days after the order; urgent work required to address immediate danger must be carried out without delay. The procurement is divided into three lots, and no bidder may be awarded more than two. The submission deadline is 12 October 2026 at 9:00, and bids must be submitted electronically. Evaluation is based on the price for harvesting and extraction in the 2027 work block and the prices for special services; the lowest-priced bid wins. Bids must include the required equipment and workforce schedule, PEFC certification and, where applicable, evidence of relevant previous experience.
