Summary

GIZ is procuring consulting services to support implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area Digital Trade Protocol and related legal and policy reforms, with a focus on Ghana, Kenya and the East African Community and wider cooperation across Africa. The work includes technical and legal advice, stakeholder consultations, committee meetings, training and regional workshops, including an assessment of Kenya’s consumer-protection framework for digital trade. It also covers support for small businesses and intermediary organisations, financing guidance, study visits, partnership concepts and matchmaking events linking African and European private-sector actors.
