Revitalisation of the Feuerwache See harbour site into multifunctional maritime infrastructure

Summary

The Hanseatic and University City of Rostock is procuring integrated general planning services to revitalise the former Feuerwache See harbour site as a multifunctional maritime infrastructure facility. The scope covers five coordinated areas: waterfront infrastructure, including the quay, floating pier and slipway; transport access; landscaping and open spaces; technical infrastructure, including water, wastewater, gas and electrical systems; and structural engineering. The former fire station’s demolition and a separate third-party planned tugboat pier are outside the planning contract.
